5 Week Intermediate Photography Class

This class is for those who are at the intermediate to advanced level of digital photography. Participants should have a firm grasp on aperture, shutter speed, and ISO and how to use these together to make a proper exposure in manual mode. This class will not cover these topics except when discussing their use creatively.
The 5 week class will result in a small body of printed work using a specific theme of your choosing, which will be presented at our last class meeting. Each week we will cover a different photography subject and you will work to produce images, as homework, using the discussed methods as they relate to your chosen theme. Topics we will cover include: using filters, night photography, long exposures, macro photography, portraits, water, landscapes and more. We will focus on creativity, composition, and working towards a body of work. We will not cover editing in this class.
This class is meant to challenge you creatively and give you a new way of seeing things. Also, you will build your skill set as you build your body of work by learning how to critique and curate your own work more effectively.
One intensive field trip is included in the class (location TBD but will possibly be out of town) that will fall on a Saturday and last all day.

*If you miss a class there is an option for a make up class with Amy. The cost of a 1 hour make up class is $60*
Class Cancellation Policy:
-4 weeks prior to event: 100% refund
-2 weeks prior to event: 50% refund
-1 week prior to event: no refund
Amy retains the right to cancel any class should the class not fill to the minimum requirement of attendees.
